You too can fly our An-2! The Antonov An-2 Club is in the final stages of getting the necessary paperwork to providing 'Pleasure Flights' around the country from next year. Hope to see you onboard! The picture below is of another happy group of PPL's who handled the controls on a flight round the Solent.

Or would you like the aircraft to actually come to your private party? All you need is a friendly farmer with a 700m field! Remember, the AN-2 is designed to operate from basic fields. The group shown below had a great time at their BBQ one summer evening in Hampshire!

If you hold a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) then you will be no doubt very pleased to be reminded that the Antonov An-2 is a Single Engine Piston (SEP) aircraft. You can fly it P1! This is the largest single-engine biplane in the world. It’s 1000hp engine is a joy to sit behind a huge tail-dragger; mastering this aircraft is the most fun you can have with a PPL!
