If you hold a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) then you will be no doubt very pleased to be reminded that the Antonov An-2 is a Single Engine Piston (SEP) aircraft. As a club member you may even be able to fly it under the supervision of our experienced pilots. This is the largest single-engine biplane in the world. It’s 1000hp engine is a joy to sit behind a huge tail-wheel aircraft. Mastering this plane is the most fun you can have with a PPL! You may also be able to take some friends for the flight of your life! Can you rise to the challenge?
