Our aircraft is run by a team of enthusiastic pilots and ground-crew on a non-profit basis. All of our people understand operational issues and are experienced in ensuring that you and your visitors have a fantastic and memorable day out at your event.

If it’s a flying display you need, then it will be performed by one of our highly experienced and well- respected pilots, James Black, Chris Thompson, Steve Bohill-Smith, and Bill Leary. The noise created by the 1000hp radial engine, the almost non-existent take off run, turning on the spot in the air and flying backwards into a headwind are sure to leave your visitors goggle-eyed and open-mouthed. Let us make your event memorable with a truly unique display from a truly unique and versatile aircraft.

Note: As HA-MKF is based at Popham, we will endeavour to be open the aircraft to visitors at most of the Popham events and this may change if we have other air show commitments.

With our static display, we like to get your visitors up close and personal with these mighty Russian beasts. Our knowledgeable ground-crew are always on hand to get them onto the aircraft, into the cockpit, answer questions, help with photographs and ensure a great experience for the young and old alike. This is a rare opportunity for visitors to indulge so closely in their passions, and they’ll have you to thank for it.  We have even managed to arrange to cook a full three course meal in a field!
